Kαποια νeότερα απο τον κυριο Salman. εν ολιγης και επι της ουσίας, αυτο που βγαινει σαν γενικο συμπερασμα ειναι το εξης. οτι γενικά οι υψηλες θερμοκρασίες περιβάλλοντος και θερμοκρασίες εισαγωγης κατα συνέπεια επηρεάζουν οποιοδηποτε κινητήρα αλλα πόσο μάλλον τα airbox κουτιά.

ο προγραμματισμός ειναι έτσι φτιαγμένος να "κόβει" να το πω έτσι μπακαλίστικα οταν οι θερμοκρασίες είναι υψηλές για να μην υπάρχει κίνδυνος στο κινητήρα και να μην αρχίσει και χτυπάει και πυράκια.

Hi Stelios,

There is no adjustment for higher temperatures. If I take this into account then you will have less ignition retard based on temperature. BMW retard ignition with inlet temperature for a reason - to not allow any knocking of the engine.

If you have the data from the run with the OBDII readings this will be a perfect thing!

Remember Stelios, in summer here the temp reaches 32 degC. Cars make no power with airboxes on because sometimes we cannot get the fan to discplace the hot engine heat.


No one can do anything about hot weather. It is something we have to live with and the only tuning that can be done is to turn off ignition retard for temperature. I can do this for you but you need to sign a disclaimer and you cannot complain if your engine starts knocking.
