the 4-door is slightly better for structural rigidity than the coupes. That makes sense, becuse the B-pillar is smack in the middle of the chassis, not toward the rear. Remember that the weakest part of most cars is the door area.

I think you understand the advantages of weight (2 door) versus stiffness (4 door)
2 door body parts are a whole lot easier to come by. CF is quite easily available if you decide to switch to FP. 4 door shells are slightly stiffer apparently.
