Το untethered jailbreak του iPhone 4S, iPad 2 μπορεί να αργήσει παραπάνω απΆ όσο περιμέναμε

Σαν να μην μας τα λέει καλά ο @pod2g, ο άνθρωπος που έχει αναλάβει να «σπάσει» τον επεξεργαστή A5 των iPad 2 και iPhone 4S, αφού πριν λίγες μέρες ανακοίνωσε μέσω twitter ότι έχει γίνει σημαντική πρόοδος στο jailbreak αυτών των συσκευών με πολύ πιθανή την κυκλοφορία του κατάλληλου προγράμματος μέσα στην επόμενη βδομάδα.
Ωστόσο, ο ίδιος δημοσίευσε στο προσωπικό του blog μια σειρά ερωτήσεων για τις οποίες οι απαντήσεις δεν είναι καθόλου ενθαρρυντικές. Συγκεκριμένα, αναφέρει ότι το exploit που είχε βρει απαιτεί developer λογαριασμό εκ μέρους του χρήστη και μέχρι να παρακαμφθεί αυτός ο περιορισμός δεν θα δοθεί τίποτα στη δημοσιότητα.
Αυτό πρακτικά σημαίνει ότι το untether jailbreak στο iOS 5 για το iPad 2 και iPhone 4S είναι αρκετές μέρες (βδομάδεςHow could pod2g have an untethered 4S and dev teams still havenΆt released tools to achieve this at home?
The exploit I used to inject the untethering files to the 4S relies on having a developer account, and canΆt be released publicly.
ItΆs the same reason why @MuscleNerd has an iPad 2 tethered jailbreak but couldnΆt distribute it.
So, we need to find a distributable exploit to remount the system partition read/write and to set Corona files at the correct places.
Why A4 version of Corona was easier to release?
Because a tethered jailbreak is a good way to install Corona!
Why donΆt you do a tethered jailbreak then?
A tethered jailbreak also relies on an exploitable vulnerability that we still havenΆt found yet!
pod2g, release this stuff quick, [your insult here], IΆve waited enough now.
