Variable M differential

Σε ερώτησή μου στον Diffsonline Dan Fitzgerald, σχετικά με το πως συμπεριφέρεται το διαφορικό μου σήμερα, σχετικά με την περίπτωση να βάλω διαφορικό από Ε60 Μ5 κλπ... απάντησε τα παρακάτω

It sounds like your limited slip is badly worn. I would replace the friction discs and steel plates and run what you have in there. The limited slip in the e39m5 is much better than the later ones as it actually works and doesn't just spin the inside tire until the limited slip decides to lock. This is evident by every e46m3 having one rear tire worn much more then the other.


You could go fabricate mounts and swap flanges to make the e60m5 diff fit in your car if you felt like doing some fabrication.


I have the factory clutches and factory steel plates that will outlast anything else on the market in stock. By running the thicker plates that I have along with these clutches you will have a bit more lock that stock also.
