Yep, new engine from BMW. Block melted a little, rods bended and cats melted all the way. And starter killed itself. So just replacing the rods wasn't gonna cut it (which is what warranty wanted to do). I still can't believe this all came from a faulty fuel injector. It took a lot of fuel for this engine to hydrolock itself with gas.

Bill was so high, the VP of extended warranty company had to approve. After what I have to pay, we are exceeding the value of the car. It sucks. I am starting to appreciate American simplicity in creating engines. Plus side is I get a new engine to break in myself.

This is second M engine blow on me in a year... Less than a year after factory warranty expired on both of them. So i complain to BMW, and BMW told me I am not their customer since I don't buy their crap cars new. Ha. Never again.
