Currently the Fiat 500 sales have been down in the US which is not a good sign for the car. Why do your think it is doing poorly. I think it is because there is no incentive to get a small car in the US when you can get a Focus, Cruze, Jetta, or Civic with similar mileage to the Fiat 500 for the same price. I sat in one at a car show and the car was actually not that small on the inside and was fairly comfortable. The price of a fully loaded one though is expensive. I maxed one out to $22,000 which is ridiculous for a car of that size and quality. You get a compact or midsize car that is nicer and more practical. I guess it is supposed to be a fashion item for girls that live cities over being a practical hatch for the average person.
