Με αφορμή το σημερινό πρωτοσέλιδο της Καθημερινής που αναφέρει ότι σε 3 μήνες θα βγει στην αγορά το συγκεκριμένο αυτοκίνητο, είπα να δημιουργήσω αυτό το thread :original:

Greece is not represented in the global supermarket for sports cars, but there are people trying to put the country on the map, in a meaningful way. One such man is architect/inventor Dimitris Korres, who is building a unique sports car that is intended for fast driving on surfaces other than tarmac.
Called the Korres Project 4, it uses a naturally-aspirated seven-liter V8 engine straight out of the old Corvette Z06, and since it is lighter than the American car, 62 mph (100 km/h) comes up in under 4 seconds, while top speed is a claimed 186 mph (300 km/h).
Impressive figures, for a vehicle that has adjustable and adaptive suspension inspired by that of the Citroen 2CV (Mr. KorresΆ original passion was modifying them in the 1980s), and it can be raised and fitted with different tires (two extra ones on the rear hatch, just in case) and then be driven on Baja-style courses at fairly high speed. It even has all-wheel drive and can rock-crawl quite successfully, as youΆll see in one of the many videos we've posted below.
Looks-wise, itΆs not bad either, for something not meant to rival sexy Italian sports cars. The design itself is actually good, giving the Project 4 a strong aggressive stance, reminding me a bit of the Local Motors Rally Fighter, or the Italdesign Parcour concept.

Το Korres Project 4 είναι το λεγόμενο ελληνικό super car. Στο συγκεκριμένο αυτοκίνητο έχουμε αναφερθεί αρκετές φορές ενώ πριν από λίγες ημέρας με επιβεβαιωμένο ρεπορτάζ κάναμε γνωστό ότι πολύ σύντομα θα ξεκινήσει και η παραγωγή του. Για να υλοποιηθεί το μοντέλο έχουν εργαστεί δεκάδες επαγγελματίες του χώρου ενώ έχουν γίνει και πολλές δοκιμές εξέλιξης στο δρόμο τόσο εντός όσο και εκτός. Ωστόσο, μία είναι αυτή που ξεχωρίζει και δε είναι άλλη από την δοκιμή που πραγματοποίησε ο 4 φορές παγκόσμιος πρωταθλητής ράλι (WRC) Τομι Μάκινεν τον Νοέμβριο του 2013. Οι εντυπώσεις του Φινλανδού οδηγού ήταν πολύ σημαντικές και όπως ήταν φυσικό καταγράφηκαν από τον ίδιο τον δημιουργό του αυτοκινήτου, τον Δημήτρη Κορρέ.
«Πρέπει να πω πως αυτό που έζησα σε εκτός δρόμου συνθήκες δεν μπορώ να το πιστέψω. Ήταν απίστευτο» δήλωσε χαρακτηριστικά ο Τόμι Μάκινεν δείχνοντας πως το ελληνικό αυτοκίνητο δεν είναι μία τυχαία δουλειά. Οι δηλώσεις ενός τόσο σημαντικού προσώπου δεν μπορούν να περάσουν απαρατήρητες ενώ δείχνουν πως όταν οι Έλληνες θέλουν μπορούν να καταφέρουν πάρα πολλά.
Αρκεί να έχουν και την βοήθεια του κράτους... Αυτό που θα πρέπει να περιμένουμε είναι η παραγωγή του και η επιτυχία που θα σημειώσει σε παγκόσμιο επίπεδο!
