Hundreds of drawings, scale models and eight two-size, that even keeping the basic design concept, we have gradually refined the shape and substance. This was achieved through meticulous attention to detail that has resulted in a continuous and exhausting search for proportion and elegance.

The bi-xenon headlights, a prestigious heritage of the Zonda R and LED daytime running lights are harmoniously integrated into the elliptical shape of the mouth front. The integrated rear bumper diffuser dominated by an elliptical frame that surrounds and enhances the four tailpipes, a symbol of continuity and a characteristic feature of the mark Pagani.

SPINE

The all-new monocoque central Huayra is built in carbon-titanium, with its gull-wing doors that include a good portion of the roof. The research focused on the application of advanced composite materials and technologies first tested on the Zonda R, to achieve the highest levels of rigidity combined with maximum lightness.

The result of the reduction program is summed up in a vehicle weight of 1350 kg which makes lighter Huayra the supercar segment.

HEART

Mercedes-AMG provides the heart of Huayra. Pagani = Respect, τέλος

Μπορεί κάποιοι να το βλέπεται υπερβολικό ή φορτωμένο, έτσι πίστευα και γω μέχρι που είδα ζωντανά pagani. Στο MPH Show του Birmingham πριν 3+ χρόνια είχε μία απίστευτη έκθεση με όλα τα supercars του στιλ enzo, veyron, carrera gt, κ.ά. Μέχρι που έβλεπες τη zonda F και καταλάβαινες πως αυτό είναι από άλλο πλανήτη. Πιο εντυπωσιακό και εξωτικό, πιο supercar, από οτιδήποτε άλλο. Ήταν λευκό πέρλα με πάνελς βερνικαρισμένου κάρμπον...

Το Huayra είναι ακόμη ομορφότερο, σκέψου να βγουν και οι πιο "ειδικές" εκδόσεις του! Α! Επίσης μην ξεχνάμε πως ο ήχος των pagani είναι πιο ανατριχιαστικός από την ανατριχίλα! Θεικό πακέτο!

Η Zonda πέθανε και η Huayra είναι εδώ για να πάρει τη θέση της. Και για να σας λυθούν οι απορίες ευθύς εξαρχής, να πούμε ότι η ονομασία του νέου supercar της ιταλικής φίρμας προέρχεται από την αρχαία διάλεκτο Quechua της Ν. Αμερικής και αναφέρεται στον θεό του ανέμου (σ.σ. κατά την εξέλιξη του το supercar διέθετε την κωδική ονομασία C9)!

Μετά από πάρα πολλά teaser λοιπόν το νέο υπερ-όπλο της Pagani αποκαλύπτεται και επισήμως. Το νέο υπεραυτοκίνητο όπως φαίνεται και από τις πρώτες επίσημες φωτογραφίες, έχει εμφανώς μία πιο... ευγενική θα λέγαμε, σχεδιαστική γλώσσα μένοντας μακριά από τη γεμάτη ακμές, γωνιώδη σιλουέτα της Zonda. ΣΆ αυτά που προσέχει κανείς με την πρώτη είναι και οι δύο gullwing πόρτες (αλά SLS) που συγχρόνως αποκαλύπτουν ένα εσωτερικό με εντυπωσιακές λεπτομέρειες σαν το εκτεθειμένο κιβώτιο ταχυτήτων.

Κατά τα λοιπά, το ιταλικό supercar διαθέτει μονοκόμματο πλαίσιο από άνθρακα και τιτάνιο, ενώ όλα τα μέρη έχουν κατασκευαστεί από ανθρακονήματα με αποτέλεσμα το συγκρατημένο βάρος των 1.350 κιλών (120 κιλά πιο βαριά από την απερχόμενη Zonda). Πίσω από τις δύο θέσεις της καμπίνας εργάζεται ένας 6λιτρος V12 κινητήρας με διπλό turbo (Bi-turbo αν θέλετε), κατασκευασμένος ειδικά για την Pagani από την AMG της Mercedes-Benz (παρόμοιος με εκείνον που υπάρχει κάτω από το καπό της SL65 AMG). Οι έως τώρα πληροφορίες από την εταιρεία μιλούν για απόδοση 710 ή και περισσότερων ίππων και ροπή που ξεπερνά τα 1.000 Nm (!), με την κίνηση να περνά στους πίσω τροχούς μέσω ενός κιβωτίου διπλού συμπλέκτη 7 σχέσεων της XTRAC. Να σημειώσουμε ότι το βάρος του κιβωτίου είναι 96 κιλά και είναι τοποθετημένο εγκάρσια ακριβώς πίσω από το V12 μηχανικό σύνολο.

Το συνεπάγονται όλα αυτά. Εκρηκτικές πραγματικά επιδόσεις! Αρκεί να σας πούμε ότι η εταιρεία ανακοινώνει για το κλασικό 0-100 km/h μόλις 3,3 sec. Και μία τελική ταχύτητα που αγγίζει τα 370 km/h! Από εκεί και ύστερα να πούμε ότι η ιδανικά ζυγισμένη Huayra (η κατανομή βάρους είναι 44% στο εμπρός άξονα και 56% στον πίσω) διαθέτει και ειδικά εξελιγμένο από την Bosch σύστημα ελέγχου της πρόσφυσης το οποίο διαθέτει τρία στάδια. Από εκεί και ύστερα εξαιρετικά μελετημένη είναι και η αεροδυναμική του νέου supercar, με την Pagani να ισχυρίζεται ότι τα τέσσερα ενεργά «flaps» (όπως αυτά των αεροσκαφών και υπάρχουν στα εμπρός πλαϊνά μέρη του αμαξώματος) μπορούν να ρυθμίζονται αυτόνομα βελτιώνοντας κατά περίσταση την αρνητική άντωση (ή downforce αν προτιμάτε).

Τέλος, να πούμε ότι η παραγωγή της Pagani Huayra αναμένεται να ξεκινήσει αργότερα μέσα στη χρονιά με τον τιμοκατάλογο της να ξεκινάει περίπου από το 1.000.000 ευρώ!
